The Refuge

Three families; three deadly dreams.

Coryl must decide which dream to defend.  In the world of Xianova, Christians must be Pure, or be Blessed — with a cryogenic blessing from which few return.

Tahni and Nyk have deceived the system for years, culminating in a daring escape plan for their autistic son.  But in the process of smuggling vital information to her husband, Tahni’s research party is slaughtered by raiders in the Faquir jungle.  Between raiders and mutated predators, she’ll be dead soon too, unless Coryl intervenes.

Kurn’s only option to rescue his frozen brother and save his son is to sacrifice himself, and place his hopes on Coryl and an experimental vaccine.

Coryl could help them both…at the probable cost of reuniting with his own family…and his life.

Which nightmare should he choose?

Fans of The Hunger Games and No Less Days series will devour this short Christian dystopian sci-fi novella, a prequel to The Xianova Chronicles.
